I like to organise: The Great Origami Maths Role: Tour Organiser/Promoter | Year: 2006 |
Client: Origami NZ | Visitorship: c.10 000 An innovative and interactive maths education show unfolded across NZ in 2006.
Bettina was engaged to assist Origami master, Jonathan Baxter, and his glamorous math assistant, Hugh Gribben, in promoting and touring this entertaining live show to schools and museum venues across the country. While Jonathan and Hugh revealed to rapt audiences just how much maths and science was tucked away in the creases of an origami model, Bettina kept the show on the road, writing promotional material, press releases and arranging the tour schedule with expectant venues. Click here to download an origami tetrahedron puzzle from the tour You'll find the folding instructions here (Note: Don't crop the picture. Before folding, trim the excess margins off to the edge of the coloured image. This is to keep the original A4 dimensions that are critical to the piece working!) |
