Pūkeko Blue, along with creative partner Inc Creative, created a proof-of-concept DVD for the New Zealand Fire Service Natonal Training Unit as a lead-up to creating a Visual Study Guide series to support their nationwide recruit-training programme.
Filmed under very tight timeframes and in the depth of a Manawatū winter, production and scriptwriting was carried out by wordsmith Bettina Anderson with the Inc Creative team managing filming and post-production digital magic.
The final product was a 15 minute DVD, demonstrated and narrated by a NZFS pump training expert. Our relaxed creative approach produced a straight-talking, practical teaching tool, that has proven extremely relevant to (and well-received by), the target recruit audience.
