Great Origami Maths & Science Show

The Great Origami Maths and Science Show unfolded across New Zealand in August 2006...

PÅ«keko Blue was engaged to assist Origami master Jonathan Baxter and his glamourous math assistant Hugh Gribben, in promoting and touring this entertaining live show to schools and museum venues across the country.

While Jonathan and Hugh revealed to rapt audiences just how much maths and science was tucked away in the creases of an origami model, Bettina Anderson kept the show on the road, writing promotional material, press releases and arranging the tour schedule with expectant venues.

Supported by a grant from the Royal Society of New Zealand,  the show was carefully designed to mesh with the school math curriculum, making colourful and creative connections for its youthful audience.
