A novel approach to disaster preparedness
Bettina was engaged to undertake the research, concept design, content creation and user-testing of a full-on toolkit aimed at supporting community civil defence groups around the country deliver in-home disaster readiness programmes. The kit included all sort of tools to inspire preparedness such as online games, door-to-door calls by 'preparedness ambassadors' and our favourite - a wee campaign aimed at encouraging neighbours to get to know each other over sharing a freshly brewed cuppa of 'Communi-tea' (mockup shown below).
